Paradise Palms Vacation Homes Have (Almost) Everything You Need

Here at Vacation Pool Homes, we pride ourselves on delivering a worry-free experience for our guests. When you stay in one of our Paradise Palms vacation homes, you can expect to find everything clean and tidy upon your arrival. The beds will be made with fresh linens and there will be plenty of clean towels in the closet should you want to jump into the pool or hot tub immediately upon arrival.

But what else can you expect? Vacation homes aren’t like hotel rooms. They offer space, privacy, and amenities that you’ll never find at local hotel chains and motels. But there are also some things that you may come to expect from hotel rooms that you might not find in your vacation rental home. So what does this mean about what you should bring along in your suitcase? Don’t worry, we’ve put together a handy guide that will you to bring only what you need and nothing that you don’t.

Clothes & Toiletries

This one should be pretty obvious. The closets won’t be stocked full of clothes when you arrive, so it’s important that you bring outfits for the various activities in which you’ll be participating during your stay at Paradise Palms resort (that means bring your bathing suit!). While it doesn’t rain very often here, we do recommend that you bring at least one pair of long pants, closed-toed shoes, and a light jacket in case the weather turns cold. You’ll also want to bring your toothbrush, favorite shampoo and conditioner, and makeup/aftershave. Don’t worry about bringing that bulk hair blow dryer, however, as one is included with most of our Paradise Palms vacation homes.

Entertainment

Most of our Paradise Palms vacation homes come complete with flat screen televisions, DVD players, and WiFi internet access. However, if you’d like to check your email or play the Baby Einstein DVD that always puts your little one in a good mood, you’ll need to bring along your laptop or tablet, and any DVDs/CDs that you enjoy. If you’re feeling truly adventurous, you might even bring along a book or a journal as well.

Health Items

While you’ll find plenty of toilet paper and paper towels in your Paradise Palms vacation home, other essential items for your health may not be included. Be sure to bring any medications or supplements you’re taking, plus bandages, insect repellent, motion sickness medications, sunscreen, aloe (for sunburns), tweezers, and other items that you might need during the course of your stay.

Toys & Personal Effects

When traveling to Florida with children, it’s important to bring along things that will help keep them feeling comfortable and entertained during their stay at the Paradise Palms resort. This includes special blankets and pillows, night lights, sketch pads, toys, stuffed animals, pool accessories (floaties, noodles, rafts, squirt guns, diving toys), and other things that will help your kids have fun and enjoy their time.

And what about the adults in your group? It’s important to remember all of your necessary personal effects as well. These include:

  • Camera

  • Cash and Debit Card

  • Cell Phone and Charger

  • Change (for Tolls and Parking)

  • Contact Lenses and Solution

  • Credit Card

  • Glasses

  • Purse

  • Sunglasses and Case

  • Wallet

  • Watch
